The IDF announced that two Hamas-affiliated militants were killed in a clash in the Jenin refugee camp. The military operation in Jenin began on Wednesday and continued into the weekend amid rising tensions in the West Bank. Fighting has continued in the city and refugee camp in recent hours.
The army clarified that this is a limited operation, prompted by an increase in terror attack warnings. One of the objectives set for operations in the West Bank is to seize at least 2,000 weapons from Palestinian towns and villages by the end of this year.
