Why is my Michelin reward card not working? ›

Your Reward Card will not work prior to activation or after it has expired. Another reason a transaction will be declined is if the purchase amount is greater than the balance on the Reward Card. The merchant does not know how much money is on your Reward Card, so make sure to keep track of your balance.

Tire Installation Requirements

Costco will not perform services on tires purchased by non-members. Costco will only install tires authorized for a specific vehicle. If you are unsure if your purchase is an authorized fitment, contact your local Costco tire center for assistance.

The Installation Package also includes Lifetime Maintenance Services that extend throughout the life of the tires you purchase (some limits may apply). These Lifetime services include inflation pressure checks, tire balancing, tire rotations, as well as flat repairs.

Costco Wholesale will repair or replace ^** tires damaged during standard legal vehicle operation. * Warranty is subject to proper Tire Care.

While both services contribute to a smoother ride, tire balancing and wheel alignment are not the same services. A tire balance corrects the weight imbalance on your tire and wheel assemblies, while an alignment corrects the angles of the tires so they always come in contact with the road in the right way.

Tires have numbers listed on the sidewall that tell you the tire's type, width, aspect ratio, construction type, diameter, load index, and speed rating. Tire numbers change depending on these seven factors, but all manufacturers use the same tire code system.

Look for the letters D-O-T followed by a series of up to 13 characters. For tires made since the year 2000, the tire date code is always the last four numbers in the series. The first two digits represent the week of the year the tires were made, and the last two digits indicate the year.

The first two characters are the factory code indicating where the tire was made. The last four digits are numbers identifying the week and year of manufacture (example: "0309" means the third week of the year 2009).

A 3-digit DOT Date Code was used on tires manufactured before the year 2000. The first two digits still represent the week of manufacture, but the last digit refers to the previous year of the decade. For instance, '238' would mean the tire was made in the 23rd week of the 8th year of a decade (likely 1998).
